This year, as well as always, last Sunday July St.-Petersburg became striped — Day of Navy fleet. In water area Neva on spot-check there were the newest ships: frigate «Admiral Essen», destroyer «Brisk», patrol-boat «Urengoy» and a diesel engine-electric submarine of type «Varshavjanka». Well and the holiday was unique — there has arrived Putin.
Boy in forage-cap photographs on a tablet seamen with a flag with Putin's portrait. Actually, many passing by, photographed these seamen and a flag, or were photographed with them.
Spectators on University quay look parade of the ships on Neva. Before the beginning the Palace bridge has been diluted, that was exception for Day of the Navy.

In the distance the admiral's yacht, with Putin who have arrived for celebration approaches to patrol-boat «Urengoy».
On a background at Senate Square and destroyer «Brisk».

I at first have thought that on a roof of the Synod was sniper, already at home I see that they are photographers. Best place, of course :)

For all holidays on streets sellers of flags creep out. Tricolor always on sale, other flags — on conditions (in Navy Day — Andreevsky and Soviet naval, on day airborne — a flag of landing armies etc.)
