Petersburg trams of different years
The first is a replica of the very first tram, which in 1907 made its first flight through the streets of St. Petersburg.

People are happily photographed with a historic tram.
1937 tram
Externally, the tram repeats the look of the very first tram. Route 20, Pargolovo - Lossal Square.
The post-war tram, for its appearance has received the nickname "elephant" (for a large mass, rounded shape and upper part of the body, painted in ivory). The most massive tram, LM-47 (by the way, the same elephant was LM-49).
In the cab of the LM-47 tram (“Elephant”), the control stick.
On the eve of the new year, “Stilyaga” travels around the central streets of St. Petersburg, decorated with festoons.
Elephants
More precisely, the "Elephant" - the one on the left, it is the most massive tram (Tram LM-49, produced by VARZ - now the Petersburg Tram Mechanical Plant). Right - LM-47.
Numbers on trams in Petersburg have always been four digits and the first digit means belonging to the park.
Prewar trams
The trams stood on Inzhenernaya Street between Sadovaya and the Circus. On the right is LM-33.
Vintage trams
On the right is a horse trail, on the left is one of the early trams.
In the tram
It was possible to enter the cabins of trams and the little one did not miss the opportunity to call. In one tram the rope of the bell was torn off, could not stand it (some spin-grym probably hung on it).
Control of the move with a single “Move - Stop” handle.
A string of trams on Engineering Street
On the left - the restored first tram, on the right - the 5th number built a little later, Nalichny Lane - Dombal's carriage.
Trams
For trams Engineering Street was closed for 2 hours. At the end, the trams parted and anyone could ride on any of the trams.
Cutetie
And at parting, once again “dude”, one of the most colorful trams.
