Memorable sign to the besieged loudspeakers at the corner of the house on Nevsky Prospect No. 54/3 (former house of I.I. . Shuvalov, House of Demidovs, House of A. Ushakov).
The memorial sign was opened on May 8, 2002. The project was proposed by the student of the Faculty of History of St. Petersburg State University K. Strakhov.Architect A.P. Chernov. Restored in May 2004 year.
Text on the memorial plaque: "Here at the loudspeakers during the days of the heroic defense of Leningrad 1941-1944, residents of the besieged city listened to reports on events at the front."
