In 1887 on the site of the duel, a bust of Pushkin was erected, which stood until 1924 The modern commemorative granite obelisk with a bronze bas-relief of the poet was opened in 1937 sculptor - M. G. Manizer, artist - A. I. Lapirov, architect - E. I. Katonin.
