Blockade substation (Traction substation No. 11), St. Petersburg, embankment of the river Fontanka, 3A. The building was built in 1932 according to an experimental project developed in the 1920s. the substation made it possible for March 7 1942 resume tram traffic. They wanted to demolish the substation in the 2010s, but the townspeople defended it as one of the symbols of the resilience of a Leningrader during the years of the Blockade.
