About a flask and a train trip across Russia

32 photo with description
I wrote a short description By train from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok across the whole of Russia . Many travelers have some kind of talismans that travel with them. In 2019, this was my homemade flask, presented to me by an acquaintance. In the summer of 2019, I firmly decided to make my old dream come true and travel by train across all of Russia from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok. It is not interesting to go by train # 1 for a week, so I docked several trains so that I could walk around a new city during the day, and go to the next city at night and sleep off. The platform of the Ladoga railway station in St. Petersburg . The key to start! The backpack in the frame is all my luggage. Laptop, camera and the bare minimum. I forgot to take the mug, I had to ask the guides for glasses.

Moscow, view of the Kremlin from the "floating" bridge. In each city, I decided to take photos with a flask and some recognizable view. Amur tiger cubs, what a coincidence, I'm just going to those lands where they live. Perm, art object "Happiness is not far off." Tyumen, view of the Tura river. Tyumen, square of Siberian cats (heroic fighters against fascist rats). Novosibirsk, view of the Ob. The river is so wide that the locals jokingly call it “our sea”. Severobaikalsk, view of Baikal. Finally I got to it! Neryungri . There is not much to see in the city, but the nature is amazing. The name of the city is unusual for the Russian ear and locals jokingly call it “Nyurka”.

Neryungri, Chulman river. Khabarovsk, station building. Matroskin the cat and the dog Sharik. What do they have to do with it? Why not. Vladivostok ! Well, finally I got to you! To return to Vladivostok, you need to rub the ears of these tiger cubs (a sculpture on the embankment of the Sports Harbor). I rubbed it! The slopes in the city are such that I'm tired like this: One of the sculptures on the territory of the Primorsky Oceanarium. Taki station of Birobidzhan . Thank you, column, at least I washed my face. After many kilometers of marches, such street speakers invariably help me out. Well, he poured the flask. Chita, park ODORA, sculpture "Cossack and Bear".

I love to travel, but by that time I was very tired. And also go and go! Ulan-Ude, a monument to Geser, one of the symbols of the city. Irkutsk, railway station. Sculptural Baikal seal, in order to diversify the note. These eared dogs are everywhere! Krasnoyarsk, station building. Kurgan, station square, a monument to the founder of the city Timofey Nevezhin. Ufa, railway station. Marten! Suddenly. This animal is a symbol of the city. View of the Belaya river. Penza, railway station. The cat is at the feet of the jeweler, in order to dilute the note. Everything! The finish. Bonus: Ruskeala Marble Canyon .

Well, I returned this flask to the young lady, as a souvenir, as having seen the whole of Russia . Her friend, after listening to my story about the trip, commented: "Hmm ... The case when the flask travels more than you ..." in Vladivostok.

Friends: "And what cities would you recommend to visit?"
- Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok, Tyumen + Omsk, Yekaterinburg (these are the ones I have been to). It's a pity I flew past Tomsk, it turns out that there is 1 train a week from Krasnoyarsk and I could not connect trains to visit this very interesting Siberian city.

PS: all photos on the phone, the quality is appropriate. All without processing.
