Vasilyev’s House, Kurgan, 104 Sovetskaya Street (formerly Dvoryanskaya). The famous Soviet poet Sergei Vasiliev was born in this house, as evidenced by a commemorative plaque on the facade. Currently, the Gulliver Puppet Theater (one of the oldest puppet theaters, founded in 1943year).

In this house in 1917 – 1920was the Kurgan Revolutionary Committee, and from the 30s - the NKVD territorial administration (basements were redesigned for cameras).
