In Vladimir, I rolled in an utterly early hour and first went to look for a coffee shop with rosettes. Charging the laptop and the phone went for a walk.
Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Vladimir region - chic classicism!
Dawn from the walls of the Nativity of the Virgin male monastery.
Nativity of the Virgin Monastery. And in the frame - the immortal grandmother. Similar in Yaroslavl :)
Dmitrievsky Cathedral ("Dmitrovsky") - the court church, erected by Vsevolod the Big Nest in the princely court between 1191 and 1197.
Vladimir, park Limes.
Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
Observation deck.
The observation platforms are well-equipped. The benches would have been set up, it’s strange that there are almost none.
Binoculars.
They see:
Sleeping area of Vladimir.
The most beautiful pancake in Russia! Lepota.
Former Old Believers Church of the Life-Giving Trinity, now an exhibition of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum “Crystal. Lacquer miniature. Embroidery ".
In the 1960s, the church was going to be demolished to expand the area, but the townspeople managed to defend the church.
Golden Gate with Kozlov Val - remnants of the former powerful fortification Vladimir.
I don’t know how I failed with this photo ...
The Catholic Church of the Most Holy Virgin Mary of the Holy Rosary, built in 1892 - 1894 designed by architects A. P. Afanasyev and I. O. Karabutov. It was closed in the 1930s, returned to believers only in 1993.
Address: Vladimir, ul. Gogol, 12v.
Statue of the Virgin Mary near the Catholic Church of the Most Holy Virgin Mary of the Holy Rosary.
The priest’s house. Built with Catholic Cathedral by the same architects as the church.
Vladimir, ul. Gogol, 12.
The building Sberbank to my surprise turned out to be new - 1993 year built.
Address: Vladimir, Bolshaya Moskovskaya Street, 27.
Former men's high school, built in 1841 year. Nowadays - city children's art school (in Soviet times - the house of officers).
Address: Vladimir, 35 Bolshaya Moskovskaya Street.
Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Vladimir region.
Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker (Nicholas-Kremlin Church) near the walls of the Virgin-Nativity Monastery built in 1761 year on the site of a more ancient wooden church that burned down during a big fire.
Vladimir, Bolshaya Moskovskaya Street, 68.
The fortress wall of the Virgin Nativity Monastery.
The bell tower with the belfry and the throne of Alexander Nevsky in the territory of the Virgin-Rozhdestvensky male monastery.
The path around the Mother of God Christmas Monastery along the southern fortress wall. Views from the monastery walls are breathtaking!
Bell tower with the belfry and the throne of Alexander Nevsky and the dome of the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
View of the Assumption Cathedral (the main church of Vladimir-Suzdal Russia) and the building of provincial government offices (built in 1790 year designed by architect K.I. Blanca, now the museum center "Chambers").
Vladimir, Bolshaya Moskovskaya Street, 58.
Vladimirskaya CHPP-2.
Vladimir Railway Station.
The “Vladimir” hotel complex is quite well located - in the middle between the railway station and the historical center (Assumption Cathedral, Golden Gate, etc.).
Address: Vladimir, Bolshaya Moskovskaya Street, 74.
Tourist Center "Vlad" - I got the impression that the house was old-fashioned. The building is brick, but the facade (one wall) is sheathed with wood.
Leo is a symbol of the city, these cats are everywhere in the city of Vladimir.
Absolutely unexpected and incomprehensible flight of engineering thought - wooden sidewalk from hemp.
The Art Salon is located in a pleasant old brick and wooden house. Nikitskaya Street 2.
Shop-Museum "Soviet Sweets".
Arch with poppy struck me - I did not see anything like that.
Bolshaya Moskovskaya Street.
Administration of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum (on the right) and The Temple of the Life-Giving Trinity (in the distance).
Former building of the city duma. Now - "Friendship House". A chic example of neo-Russian style.
Monument to Prince Vladimir and St. Fedor in the park named after A.S. Pushkin, installed in 2007 year.
Monuments and sculptures of Vladimir - separate note.
Cathedral Square at night.
I was too lazy to take a tripod with me, a photo "from the hands".
Somehow from Vladimir I expected more, though the most interesting things around the city. For example, stupidly forgot that the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl is near Vladimir. Theoretically, I could have time to roll to it.
