Locomotives of the Cherepanovs

It is not known for certain how the locomotives of the Russian mechanics of the Cherepanov brothers looked, the original drawings were not preserved (partially preserved drawings made from nature by the nephew of Efim Cherepanov Amos). Those conditional copies that are installed in the cities of Russia, to put it mildly, are not similar to each other.


Steam engine monument Kch4-328 (serial number - 2343) and a monument to the first Russian steam engine of the Cherepanov brothers. Both steam locomotives stand near the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers ( Yekaterinburg , ul. Chelyuskintsev, 102 / ul.Yakova Sverdlova, 35).

As far as I know, this is the first full-size copy of the first steam locomotive (installed in 1949).
