The former building of the Noble Assembly, which was to become a place for business meetings and recreation at the top of the Tyumen society. Built at the end of 1830 at the expense of the merchant Trusov on the steep bank of the Tura River.
It became known as the People’s House in 1910. A free city library operated at the expense of the city operated at the People’s House. and is known as the Governor’s House.
