If you plan to visit Saint-Petersburg, certainly you have some questions. I`ll try to answer the most common questions.

Air tickets, hotels and car rental: no problem — jetradar.com, booking.com and rentalcars.com. Low cost fine food: if you see signboard «Столовая» — it`s the best variant to eat! If menu haven`t translate: soups, which I can recommend — борщ (borsch), солянка (solyanka), рассольник (rassolnik);

Public transport: I recommend buy transport card in any metro stations. «Podorozhnik» transport card accepted in any city transport (without taxi).

Near metro-station Gostiny dvor you can buy any excursions. Very many variants! I can recommend water excursion to Kronshtadt, bus excursions to Pushkin, Pavlovsk, Gatchina, Lomonosov — beautiful imperior palaces and parks.

Costs in St.-Petersburg:

• cup of coffee — 100-150 rubles / 1.4-2 € / 1.5-2.3 $
• 3 stars hotel — 1000-2000 rubles / 14-28 € / 15-30 $
• metro — 28 rubles / 0.4 € / 0.4 $
• burger — ~50 rubles / ~0.8 € / ~0.8 $
• fuel (diesel and Euro 95) — ~37 rubles / ~0.5 € / ~0.5 $ (actually fuel prices in Russia)
