Monument to S. M. Kirov, opened December 12 1936 on the same square. During the war it was dismantled by the Finns, according to one data it was found and installed in the second half of the 40s in the city of Medvezhyegorsk. Re-cast and installed in 1945 year.
At back of Kirov - Musical Theater ( built after the war, 1955 built by architect Savva Brodsky) with a pediment decorated with the sculptural group "Friendship" (10 figures symbolize the indestructible friendship of the peoples of the Karelian-Finnish SSR and the fraternal commonwealth with the great Russian people, the flourishing of the physical and spiritual forces of a simple Soviet person, the desire of the Soviet people to devote all their forces to further strengthening the wealth and power of our Motherland
