The statue of a knight is the Moscow visiting card of the architect Dubovsky. This particular one is on the facade of the former apartment house of M. O. Epshtein ("House with a knight" - Moscow, Gusyatnikov per., 11) The building was built in the style of pseudo-Gothic in 1912.
