Lower Pond - to the east of the Grand Palace, a pond with an area of 4.5 hectares, named in the 18th century as the "Small Pleasure Sea", from which, through a complex system of wooden sluices, water plunged into a wide ledge cascade into a reservoir formed by the extended banks of the river, across which a bridge with figured wooden railings was thrown.
