In Inkerman, small town which is a part of Sevastopol, there is an ancient fortress of VI century Kalamita and the Inkerman Saint-Kliment cave man's monastery. The rests of a fortress and a monastery in a rock it is visible after the journey, but we straight off have found only an entrance to a monastery and and have not understood as to reach a fortress.

Fortress Kalamita initially protected the ancient port Avlita which was in a bay under a fortress, some times passed from hand to hand. The name of Inkerman — Turkish («a cave fortress»). By the time of joining Crimea to the Russian empire the fortress has been thrown and stood in ruins.
