Royal Gate Arch in memory of visiting the city of Verkhneudinsk (now Ulan-Ude) by Tsarevich Nikolai Alexandrovich during his trip to Siberia on June 20-21, 1891of the year.

Double-headed eagles from the arch were shot down in 1917, and 1936the arch has also been demolished. By the day of the city June 122006The Triumphal Arch was restored. The new arch, unlike the old wooden one, is slightly larger in size, but exactly repeated digs the original.
