Monument to G. V. Plekhanov near the main building of the Technological Institute.

May 3 1925 before the Technological Institute solemnly unveiled a monument to G.V. Plekhanov, one of the first to appear in Leningrad after the revolution, in accordance with Lenin`s plan of monumental propaganda. Sculptor I. Ya. Gintsburg. On the face of the pedestal there is a relief inscription: "G. V. Plekhanov. 1856-1918. ”The monument is a two-figure composition: Plekhanov is shown at the pulpit, at the foot of it is a sculptural image of a printer-worker with a banner in his hands.
