So, the sculptor decided to independently improve , which now bears the name Chkalovsky. The cadets of the Academy named after A.F. Mozhaisky have a tradition to wear flying goggles on the concrete Chkalov.
The authorities tried to remove the monument, but the local residents defended.
And the stalls were demolished.
