In 1703 here is constructed Peter I first wooden summer small house. Later (1710) Peter`s stone palace and other constructions (a grotto, a greenhouse, gallery) are constructed. To 1720 th the modest manor was transformed — to magnificent palace park — the Summer garden with direct avenues, short-haired trees and bosquet, with numerous fountains and marble statues (gardeners of Jan Roozen and Ilya Surmin).
Flooding 1777 has brought to a garden a huge damage: — fountains have been spoilt — and the supply system is destroyed by their water. Later the garden has been re-planned. From the party Neva there was a well-known fencing — a unique monument among this sort of constructions (Ju. M.Felten, Item E. Egorov, 1773 — 1784).
Fencing from the Moyka * (architect L.I.Sharleman, 1826) is established — in connection with the journey device on Moyka quay. It is cast on Petersburg by Aleksandrovsk factory.
